Ashley is gecast in haar eerste animatie film genaamd ‘Max and Me’.
Mexico is a hotbed of box office activity for the studios and recently also has had some big local hits that have traveled including 2013’s Nosotros Los Nobles andInstructions Not Included. Those were comedies Fr.Maximilian_Kolbe_1939that involved family matters, but Barroso’s focus will be on family values. The first film project is animated feature Max & Me, written by Disney veteran Bruce Morris, who also helmed Greatest Miracle.Max & Me recounts the true story of Polish priest Maximilian Kolbe and the challenges he faced during the Nazi invasion of Poland in World War II. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II, who once called him “the patron saint of our difficult century.” The voice cast includes David Henrie, Ashley Greene, Neal McDonough, and Hector Elizondo.
Ashley’s nieuwste film ‘Kristy’ is verschenen op DVD in Duitsland vorige week! Inmiddels zijn er ook twee nieuwe stills van de film verschenen!

Ashley’s nieuwste film “Burying The Ex” zal te zien zijn op het Venice Film Festival! Het festival wordt van 27 augustus tot 6 september gehouden in Venetië, Italie, en is niet bekend of Ashley het festival zal bijwonen. Ook is het plot voor de film verschenen:
Burying The Ex is an outrageous horror-comedy in which a young man’s romance with his dream girl takes an unexpected turn when his dead ex-girlfriend rises from the grave… and thinks they are still dating!

Peggy Simuyuni: How different is the feeling of working on an indie film as compared to a big budget movie for you?
Hi Peggy – working on WIWH is different than a studio film and most indies since it was funded by his fans (thank you guys!) on Kickstarter, which gave Zach full creative freedom. That really set the tone. Everyone was really excited about being there and making the best film possible for you guys. Apart from that, most indie films are just a lot more intimate feeling.Malena Srur Ashley: would you like to make a period movie piece, old hollywood and stuff? Would you like to prove luck in tv again, like HBO?
I would LOVE to do a period piece! I think there is something very romantic about them. It’s also nice to be able to entertain as well as educate people about that moment in time. Having the opportunity to work on television, as well as film would be the dream. The face of television has really changed in such a positive way.

Er is een poster verschenen van van Ashley’s film ‘Burying the Ex’. Het zou niet de officiëlle poster voor de film zijn maar wel door iemand gemaakt die betrokken is bij de film. Daarnaast is een foto’s verschenen van de de Post-Production van de film
Zach Braff heeft in zijn blog laten weten dat ‘Le role de ma vie’ de Franstalige titel voor zijn film ‘Wish I Was Here’ zal worden.

Quick announcement.
Sometimes, a title in the US doesn’t translate as well in other countries around the world. So, you may see different names for the same film in different countries.
For those of you in France, our film will now be known by a new name there: LE ROLE DE MA VIE.
All of our communications here will still refer to the film as WISH I WAS HERE, but if you are telling your friends about it, be sure to let them know about our new title LE ROLE DE MA VIE.
