Het lijkt erop dat Ashley gecast in de nieuwe Hallmark film ‘Christmas On My Mind’ één van de 40 films die de Amerikaanse zender zal gaan uitzenden. De film zal op 19 december te zien op televisie.
Het is nog niet bekend waar de film precies over gaat.
De eerste foto’s van Ashley’s nieuwste film ‘Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story’ zijn verschenen, opnames vinden momenteel plaats in New York.

Ashley is gecast als de vrouwelijke hoofdrol in de film ‘Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story’. De film is gebaseerd op een waargebeurd verhaal en zal gaan over Jackie een amateur basketballer uit Brooklyn, New York die ervan droomt om professioneel te spelen. Ashley vertolkt de rol van Jenny.
Ashley Greene (Twilight saga), Greg Finley (The Flash), Brandon Thomas Lee (The Hills: New Beginnings), and David Arquette (Scream film series) have signed to star in Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story, a feature about the Brooklyn-native street basketball legend Jackie Ryan. Danny A. Abeckaser is directing the film for his production company 2B Films. Antonio Macia wrote the script in collaboration with Ryan.
Based on a true story, the pic will center on Jackie, a hot-tempered, flamboyant and self-centered streetballer whose dreams of playing professional basketball seem to have passed him by after years of hard partying and neglect. Jackie works construction alongside his overbearing father and his wise-cracking best friend Marty. After being spotted at the famous West 4th basketball court for his incredible talent, Jackie is invited to try out for the New Jersey Nets. He is forced to confront his inner demons, even his family, and turn his life around.
Greene has been cast as the female lead, Finley will take on the title role, and Lee will play Jackie Ryan’s brother.
Rounding out the cast are Robert Davi, Bo Dietl, Tara Westwood, Sean Avery and James Madio, with filming slated to being at the end of the month in New York. Abeckaser will produce the project with Vincent Maggio. Executive producers are Isaac Gindi, David Gindi and Ron Rofe
“I am so excited to finally begin shooting this film,” Abeckaser said. “We have spent two years working on the movie behind the scenes and the last month prepping in New York for production and in casting mode. To be able to finally start shooting and have our cast set is beyond exciting. We needed to find a slew of actors who can not only act but also play basketball in order to be able to shoot this film accurately to tell the story of Jackie Ryan the way I want to tell it.”
The film will mark Abeckaser’s third directorial outing following the yet-to-be-released film Mob Town, in which he co-stars in with Arquette, and First We Take Brooklyn. He’ll also appear in the upcoming Martin Scorsese film The Irishman.
De eerste trailer en ook de naam van Ashley’s opkomende film ‘Bombshell’ over het Fox News schandaal is verschenen. Zelf is ze nog niet te zien in de beelden als presentatrice Abby Fox. De film komt 20 december in de Amerikaanse bioscopen, In de eerste berichten staat dat de film in januari 2020 in Nederland zal uitkomen.
Er is een video verschenen van de ‘Antiquities’ vragensessie voor de pers tijdens het Dances with Films die vorig jaar juni plaatsvond. Bekijk hier de foto’s van het evenement.
Ashley was samen met regisseuse Catherine Hartwick aanwezig bij Cinespia’s Screening van “Twilight” die gehouden werd in The Hollywood Forever Cemetery in L.A. Hiermee wilde ze fans verrassen die de film in de outdoor bioscoop opnieuw kwamen bekijken.

Ashley is samen met Shawn Ashmore gecast in de nieuwe thriller ‘Aftermath’. De twee zullen een koppel spelen dat moeite heeft om bij elkaar te blijven. Wanneer ze een fantische deal op een huis aangeboden krijgen, die ze normaal nooit zouden kunnen betalen besluiten ze deze te nemen om een nieuw start te maken. Al snel leren ze dat het twijfelachtig verleden van het huis verontrustender is dan ze dachten wanneer er angstaanjagende dingen gebeuren.
Opnames van de film zijn nu bezig, het is nog niet bekend wanneer deze uitkomt.
James Andrew Felts’ Motion Picture Exchange (MPX) has acquired worldwide sales rights to Aftermath, the Peter Winther-directed thriller that stars Ashley Greene and Shawn Ashmore. It is the first film from producers Peter and Lars Winther’s newly launched Winther Brothers Entertainment, and Rick Sasner of River Run Entertainment.
Principal photography is just getting underway. Winther developed the story with Dakota Gorman, who wrote the screenplay. The thriller centers on a young couple (Greene and Ashmore) struggling to stay together, when they are offered an amazing deal on a home with a questionable past that would normally be beyond their means. In a final attempt to start fresh as a couple they take the deal. However, soon after moving in, the couple falls prey to strange and disturbing occurrences, and eventually learn that the house has a more troubling history than either of them anticipated.
Diana Hopper (Goliath), Britt Baron (Glow), Sharif Atkins (The 4400), and Ross McCall (White Collar) also star. Rick Sasner’s River Run Entertainment and William G. Santor’s Productivity Media are co-financing with MPX. Peter Winther, Lars Winther, and Rick Sasner are producing along with James Andrew Felts. William G. Santor, Andrew Chang-Zang, John Hills, and Michael D. Jones are exec producing.
The Winthers launch their banner after two decades of making films. Peter Winther most recently executive produced and second-unit directed Roadside Attractions’ upcoming Vietnam War drama, Last Full Measure. Winther started his career producing and second-unit directing for Roland Emmerich on such films as The Patriot, Stargate, and Independence Day.
Lars Winther is currently the Co-Producer / Assistant Director on The Suicide Squad and most recently Co-Produced / Assistant Directed Captain Marvel, Ant Man and The Wasp, and Guardians of The Galaxy 2. He has worked on 10 Marvel credits dating back to The Avengers.

Ashmore and Greene are repped by Gersh, and Greene’s also with Management 360 and Gang, Tyre.

Ashley heeft een instagramverhaal op haar account laten weten op de set te zijn van haar nieuwste project. Ze kan er verder nog niets over kwijt en moet hiervoor wachter tot er een persbericht vrijgegeven wordt.
De releasedatum voor één van Ashley’s nieuwste films over Fox News baas Roger Ailes is bekend gemaakt. Filmproducent Lionsgate heeft laten weten dat de film op 20 december in de bioscopen zal komen, of dit ook in Nederland zal zijn is nog niet bekend. Alhoewel enkele nieuwsberichten laten weten dat de film nog geen officiële titel heeft wordt in het onderstaande bericht de titel ‘Fair and Balanced’ benoemd.
In de film zal Ashley de rol van Foxnews host Abby Huntsman spelen, opnames van de film waren afgelopen november in L.A. De film gaat over Fox News baas Roger Ailes, die 1996 ontslagen werd nadat meerdere medewerkers hem beschuldigde van seksuele intimidaties.
According to Deadline, Lionsgate has set the release date for director Jay Roach’s upcoming and highly anticipated Roger Ailes biopic Fair and Balanced. Led by Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman, the film is scheduled to hit the theaters later this year on December 20, 2019. This Fair and Balanced release date is clearly a counter-programming move against the big guns coming out that day, namely Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Episode IX and Universal’s film adaptation of the musical Cats.
The film is described mostly as an ensemble piece, with the majority of the focus being on former Fox News chief Roger Ailes (John Lithgow, The Crown) and his ultimate downfall that came about after a number of women, including Gretchen Carlson (Nicole Kidman) and Megyn Kelly (Charlize Theron), sued him for harassment. Other characters that will be included in the film are former anchor Greta Van Susteren and former host Bill O’Reilly.
Malcolm McDowell (Star Wars: Rebels), Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad), Allison Janney (I, Tonya) and Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters) also star. Robbie will play a fictional Fox News associate producer, while Janney will portray Susan Estrich, Ailes’ attorney who represented him after multiple workers at Fox News accused him of workplace sexual harassment.
The cast will also include Alice Eve (Replicas), Alanna Ubach (Coco), Elisabeth Rohm, Spencer Garrett, Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga), Bree Condon and Nazanin Boniadi (Hotel Mumbai) who are all set to portray the roles of Fox News hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Jeanine Pirro, Martha MacCallum, Sean Hannity, Abby Huntsman, Kimberley Guilfoyle and Rudi Bakhtiar, respectively. Emmy award nominated actress Connie Britton has also been cast as Roger Ailes’ wife along with Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2) and Ahna O’Reilly (The Help).
Ailes was fired from Fox News within weeks of Carlson’s suit after several more women came forward with similar allegations of sexual misconduct. Murdoch, who put Ailes in charge of the network in 1996, was one of the news chief’s strongest supporters, though he ultimately made the decision to fire Ailes.
Annapurna is financing and producing the feature, with Lionsgate reportedly close to finalizing distribution. Roach (Game Change) will direct the film, based on the screenplay by Charles Randolph. In addition to starring, Theron will produce the feature along with Beth Kong and AJ Dix via Denver & Delilah. Roach, Randolph, and Margaret Riley are also producing.
Ik heb screencaptures toegevoegd van Ashley’s film ‘Antiquities’, deze verscheen eind vorige maand gelimiteerd in Amerikaanse bioscopen en Video on Demand. Vooralsnog is er nog niets bekend van een Nederlandse release.
