Ashley’s aankomende film ‘It Feeds’ zal te zien zijn op het Cannes Film Festival om kopers te vinden voor de wereldwijde distributie van de film. Het is niet bekend of Ashley naar de Franse badplaats zal gaan om de film te promoten.

Motion Picture Exchange (MPX) is kicking off worldwide sales in Cannes next week on the horror title It Feeds starring Ashley Greene from the Twilight Saga and Shawn Ashmore from the X-Men franchise.

Chad Archibald wrote and directed the Black Fawn Films production about a young girl who insists that a malevolent entity is feeding on her.

Greene portrays a clairvoyant therapist who must confront her own demons to save the girl before she is lost forever. Ashmore plays the girl’s father.

Ellie O’Brien, Shayelin Martin, Mark Taylor, and Juno Rinaldi round out the cast.

Archibald produced alongside Cody Calahan and Evan Ottoni for Black Fawn Films, and William G. Santor, Morris Chapdelaine, and Navid McIlhargey for Productivity Media Inc (PMI).

It Feeds is the first in a 10-strong genre slate partnership between PMI and Black Fawn Films announced last year

Ashley heeft via een instagramstory bevestigd dat haar facebook is gehackt. Inmiddels heeft ze contact gehad met het bedrijf om het op te lossen, maar dit is tot op heden nog niet gelukt.

Ashley is gecast in de nieuwe film ‘The Ritual’ samen met Al Pacino, Dan Steves en Abigail Cowen. De film is gebaseerd op het waargebeurde verhaal over de exorcisms van Emma Smidt. Naar verwachting zal de film in 2025 in de bioscopen verschijnen en zijn er plannen om de film ook internationaal te verkopen op het aankomende Cannes Film Festival in Frankijk.

Al Pacino and Dan Stevens have teamed up for exorcism horror film “The Ritual” from director David Midell.

XYZ Films has acquired worldwide rights to the feature, with plans to release it theatrically in 2025 and arrange international distribution at the upcoming Cannes market.

“The Ritual” was written by Midell and Enrico Natale and produced by Andrew Stevens, Mitchell Welch and Natale. Ashley Greene and Abigail Cowen round out the cast.

Based on a true story, “The Ritual” follows two priests — one questioning his faith (Stevens) and one reckoning with a troubled past (Pacino) — who must put aside their differences to save a possessed young woman through a difficult and dangerous series of exorcisms. The film is an authentic portrayal of Emma Schmidt, an American woman whose demonic possession culminated in harrowing exorcisms. Her case remains the most thoroughly documented exorcism in American history.

Pacino has multiple projects in the pipeline, including “Modi,” the Johnny Depp-directed biopic of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. Stevens, meanwhile, is currently on a roll thanks to leading roles in both “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” and “Abigail.”

Midell’s last film, “The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain,” was released theatrically in 2019 to critical acclaim, including multiple Independent Spirit Award nominations, an NAACP Image Award and a Gotham Award for outstanding lead performance for Frankie Faison.

Natale is Midell’s creative partner and the other half of the team behind “The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain,” which he produced, edited and starred in. Midell and Natale’s collaborations have produced over a dozen film festival awards, three Independent Spirit Awards nominations and a Gotham Award.
