Ashley Greene has landed the lead in Accident Man directed by Jesse Johnson. The film is based on a character from the graphic novel from the defunct monthly UK comic Toxic!, which was written by Pat Mills in the early 90s. Said to have a Deadpool-esque tone, the story centers on the life of Mike Fallon, a high-class hitman, known for making assassinations look like unfortunate accidents. Fallon’s cavalier attitude changes the day his ex-girlfriend, Beth is murdered. He teams up with Beth’s new girlfriend Charlie (Greene) on a murderous rampage to find out who killed her. Principal photography begins this month in London.
Greene is currently working on indie pic Antiquities from director Daniel Campbell’s original screenplay co-written with Graham Gordy. The pic is about Walt (Andrew West) who, after his father’s unexpected death, moves to his dad’s hometown in order to learn more about who his father was. Greene plays Ellie, an eccentric and crude free-spirit who still manages to be irresistibly charming.
Greene, perhaps best known for her role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight franchise, is repped by CAA and McKeon Myones Entertainment.
