Today I woke up with horrendous menstrual cramps that were incredibly painful, made me nauseous and left me with little ability to focus. I immediately did a few things that helped me immensely so I thought I'd share... and open up the conversation for anyone else to share their experiences or knowledge. Here's what helped me :
1. I reached for some CBD. And a LOT of it. I used 140 MG, and it helped in a BIG way, pretty quickly.
(anti-inflammatory/reduces prostaglandins)
2. I took some magnesium powder.
(Relaxes smooth muscles of uterus, reduces prostaglandins/anti-inflammatory)
3. Steeped some Raspberry Leaf Tea
(Helps minimize uterine spasms/ anti-inflammatory)
4. Dark chocolate-
(contains magnesium, potassium and iron... and it's delicious)
5. I added some chaste tree berry tea for mood stabilization.
As you can see from above, mitigating inflammation is a key element to eliminating pain during your period. I've recently become extremely mindful of what goes in my body & how it will effect my period , but the last two months I've been on and island and much less diligent ...I'm human.. so here we are. 😊
